A father who stabbed his three young children has had his sentence reduced by the Court of Appeal.
The man, whose name is suppressed, was jailed last year for 15 years, with a minimum non-parole period of 10 years, for injuring his children and kidnapping their mother.
The Court of Appeal reduced the sentence to 11 years, with a minimum parole period of seven years.
The court said it had to consider if sufficient allowance had been made for the man's intellectual impairment and guilty plea.
