The father of a Southland man shot during a hunting trip to Stewart Island, has pleaded guilty to careless use of a firearm.
Stephen Phillip Long, 61, of Southland, appeared in the Invercargill District Court this morning.
His son, Samuel Phillip Long, 24, was killed while hunting on Stewart Island
