Napier shearer Dion King has won the prized Golden Shears open and PGG Wrightson National Championship finals double in Masterton.
The 31-year-old father of two, who also helped New Zealand beat Australia in the Supershear transtasman test, is one of just three shearers to achieve the double since the National's inception in 1973.
David Fagan, who has won the double five times, was eliminated in the semifinals on Saturday afternoon.
