The Tauranga man whose wife and daughter were killed two weeks ago is taking time away from the city to contemplate his future.
Police discovered the bodies of Ravneet Sangha and her daughter two-year-old Anna at their home in the suburb of Otumoetai during Queen's Birthday weekend. Husband Dev Sangha was told of the tragedy while he was on business in India.
Bruce Rainey, the manager of Tauranga Mount Taxis, says Mr Sangha needs time alone.
"He has headed down to Nelson. I think he';s pretty well ';mediaed'; out. He has family there and will contemplate things and where he';s going to go from here."
Deepak Nagpal, who is charged with Mrs Sangha's murder, is due back in court next Friday, when further charges are likely to be laid.
