The father of a boy whose drunken antics at a Hamilton skate park went viral on the internet is relieved three people have been charged over the incident.
Three people face charges of supplying the 9-year-old boy with alcohol after he was recorded stumbling around the Clarkin Rd skate park last week.
The boy was filmed falling over and slurring his words and boasted he had drunk 18 RTD Cody's bourbon and cola drinks and smoked cannabis.
He later rode his scooter home where his shocked mother discovered he had been drinking.
Police said two men aged 20 and 27 and a 25-year-old woman have been charged with supplying alcohol to minors under section 241 of the Sale and Supply of Liquor Act 2012.
