Name suppression for the man accused of fatally stabbing Gareth Pehina Te Huia, 23, on New Year's Day has been lifted.
Perry William Tuwhangai, 41, of Te Kuiti, appeared in Hamilton District Court yesterday.
He entered no plea and was remanded in custody until February 20 for a pre-depositions conference.
