A teenager, facing firearms charges after he shot dead his friend in a hunting accident, has been remanded without plea.
The 17-year-old was also granted further name suppression when he appeared in Masterton District Court yesterday, accused of careless use of a firearm causing the death of Aaron Grimwood and possession of a firearm without a licence.
Aaron, 17, who was a close friend of the accused, died at a remote south Wairarapa property last month after the pair had been pig hunting.
