A person is dead after a fall from an apartment building in Auckland's CBD.
Police and firefighters responded to reports of a fall from the Bianco Off Queen serviced apartments in White St shortly after 11.20am this morning.
A police spokeswoman referred to the incident as a "sudden death".
"There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and Police are investigating the matter on behalf of the coroner," she said.
Detective Senior Sergeant Glenn Baldwin said there was a courtyard behind Bianco Off Queen serviced apartments and residences where the incident took place.
