The woman who died in a head-on crash on the Rimutaka Hill road between the Wellington and Wairarapa regions yesterday has been named.
Tini Whetu Mana, 45, from Featherston died after two cars collided at Pakuratahi, on the Upper Hutt side of the Rimutaka Hill, about 7.15am.
The occupant of the other vehicle was taken to Wellington Hospital with moderate injuries.
A serious crash unit investigation was continuing.
