Fatal crash in Western Bay of Plenty

Police are at the scene of a fatal collision between a car and motorcyclist in Western Bay of Plenty tonight.

The crash occurred on McLaren's Fall Road in Lower Kaimai, 18km southwest of Tauranga, Inspector William Taylor said.

"No further details are known at this time," he said

McLaren's Fall Road would be closed for two to three hours and a diversion was in place, he said.
