One person has died and two others are injured after a car and truck collided in Rolleston last night.
The crash occurred near Main South Rd and Walkers Rd just after 11pm.
Police confirmed one person had died at the scene but gave few details.
Two ambulances attended the scene.
A St John spokesman said two people were taken to Christchurch Hospital, one with serious injuries and another in moderate condition.
Emergency services are currently at the scene and a crash investigation is under way.
