A motorist has died in a crash in Mangere East after hitting a power pole.
Police are attending the crash on Steven St which occurred shortly after 1.30pm.
A police spokesperson said the sole occupant of the vehicle, who had possibly suffered a medical event, died at the scene after hitting a power pole.
The Serious Crash Unit had been advised and the road has been closed.
