Fatal crash closes SH6 near Rapahoe

One person has died after a car and truck collided on the West Coast this morning.

The crash happened at 8.20am and police, fire and ambulance are at the scene near Rapahoe.

State Highway Six will be closed until 11.30am while police investigate the crash, a statement from police said.

There are no alternative routes and motorists are being warned of traffic delays.
