KEY POINTS:
A woman died after a car accident in Dargaville today.
Inspector Matt Sillars of the police northern communications centre said few details were being released until the next of kin were informed.
The accident occurred around 1.30pm at the intersection of Normanby St and Gladstone St and one person was trapped in a vehicle.
The woman died in hospital.
