A Tauranga man is dead after being run over by a grader today, police have confirmed.
Police were called to the Port of Tauranga about midday, and the 49-year-old man was pronounced dead, Tauranga police Senior Sergeant Glenn Saunders said.
No further details would be released until the next of kin had been advised.
