Crews from Thames, Turua, Te Puru and Tapu have been called to assist at the blaze.

Seven fire appliances are attending the scene of a fast-moving 4ha bush fire near Thames.
Crews from Thames, Turua, Te Puru and Tapu have been called to assist at the blaze.

People in Thames township reported smelling smoke from the blaze.
Jaron Phillips from the Fire Service said a chopper was also being arranged.
"At this stage the size of the fire is undetermined but it is fast moving," he said.
"We don't think any properties are in danger."
A chopper was being used to fight the fire with a monsoon bucket and another helicopter was coming from Auckland, the Fire Service tweeted.
The blaze is believed to be about 4ha.
