Fashion label owner Jason Crawford has been remanded in custody after breaching bail conditions imposed after his arrest on drugs charges.
The 35-year-old owner of Insidious Fix had been bailed on Tuesday after being charged with cultivating cannabis and allowing a premises to be used for the purpose of cannabis cultivation.
The charges relate to what police called a "huge and sophisticated" drug operation in the Onehunga factory housing his clothing company.
But he failed to report to police as required and was arrested again when he was found hiding in a roof cavity when police raided a Penrose warehouse yesterday.
At Auckland District Court this morning he admitted breaching his bail conditions and his lawyer Gary Gotlieb made no application for bail.
Crawford was remanded in custody until his next appearance on Thursday, December 1.
Mr Gotlieb said more charges were likely to be faced by his client.
