Save A farmer has been airlifted to hospital after being struck in the chest by a bull this afternoon.
The 65-year-old man was injured shortly before 2.30pm in cattle yards at Pourerere, in rural Hawkes Bay.
He suffered chest injuries after being hit by a bull, the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter
said.
The man was airlifted from a farm house to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital for treatment.
