A 60-year-old Pongaroa farmer remains in a serious condition in Wellington Hospital after he was injured in a truck crash on a steep hill.
Lance Burns, Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter pilot, said the man had been flown to Wellington Hospital with serious injuries to his stomach and lower body after the crash on a Pongaroa farm about 5pm, Sunday.
He said St John Ambulance staff stabilised the man at the scene before he was airlifted to Wellington Hospital.
