A farmer who was seriously injured when a cow kicked him and sat on him near Taupo is now in a stable condition.
The 57-year-old was flown to Waikato Hospital by the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter late yesterday afternoon after the cow kicked and sat on him on a Tihoi farm.
At the time, the cow was being loaded out of the yard.
The Waikato District Health Board said this morning the man was in a stable condition.
