A farmer suffered leg and back injuries after falling out of a tree on his Hawke's Bay farm.
The Hawke's Bay Rescue Helicopter was called to the man's farm at Ormondville just before midnight last night.
The man, in his 40s, was stabilised and then airlifted to Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.
