KEY POINTS:
A farm worker moving stock has found a man's body in a crashed vehicle down a bank, north of Gisborne.
The flat deck ute was found off State Highway 35 at Busby's Hill, halfway between Tolaga Bay and Tokomaru Bay.
Police believe they have identified the man, who is believed to be in his late 40s. They are waiting until they advise his next of kin before releasing any more details.
The body has been taken to Gisborne Hospital for a post-mortem examination and the ute has been removed from the scene.
