Farm girl top dancer

A former Coromandel farm girl has won the country's top dancing scholarship - worth $20,000.

Adriana Harper, aged 19, won the Todd Corporation Scholarship after the Royal New Zealand Ballet selected her as an outstanding graduate of its Wellington school.

Harper will take part in NZ Post Tutus on Tour, which will travel to 49 centres in February and March.
