KEY POINTS:
Management and staff of the Kawarau Jet company have met family members of the woman killed in a jetboat accident just over a week ago.
Forty-two-year old Yan Wang's body was found beneath the 2.5 tonne Kawarau Jet boat after it flipped while carrying 22 passengers on the Shotover River in Central Otago on September 25.
Seven other passengers were injured.
Ms Wang's family and some members of the Chinese tour group met with directors and staff from Kawarau Jet last night, Detective Sergeant Grahme Bartlett of Queenstown police said.
The driver of the jetboat involved in the incident was present at the meeting.
The purpose of this meeting was to allow the company the opportunity to offer their condolences to the family and the tour group, Mr Bartlett said.
Ms Wang's family have asked for privacy during their stay in the country.
Kawarau Jet was back on the river on Sunday but the crashed boat remained out of service.
Police, Maritime New Zealand and Traffic Accident Investigation Commission are investigating.
