Photo / SuppliedA family is in shock after Waikato wife and mother Michelle Robertson died while on holiday in the Cook Islands with her husband and friends.Robertson, 37, died in Rarotonga on Saturday, August 5. No information has been made available about the cause of death. She was married to Bruce Robertson, and they had one child together, Levi. Robertson was also a stepmother to Nicole Robertson and Karla Welsh.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed her death, but couldn't provide further information for privacy reasons.AdvertisementAdvertise with NZME.AdvertisementAdvertise with NZME.There's been an outpouring of grief over her death on social media, and on her obituary page.Her husband's rugby team, the Hautapu Hopefools from Cambridge, organised a guard of honour for her funeral earlier today.Michelle and her husband, Bruce Robertson.
