A dad and three children escaped uninjured when their car burst into flames in Queenstown.
Emergency services were called to Frankton-Ladies Mile, State Highway 6, at 10.30am yesterday.
Senior Constable Chris Blackford, of Queenstown Police, said: "The fire began at the back left hand side of the vehicle.
"There are a number of things that could have caused it.
"The driver and three kids all got out but the car was a complete write-off."
