KEY POINTS:
A family of three has escaped unhurt from a yacht which caught fire in Auckland's Okahu Bay.
The coastguard says the fire was seen by another vessel which put out an emergency call and rescued the father and his two children.
It is believed the fire was caused by a gas cylinder on board the 20-foot vessel.
