Fallen trolley bus wires have closed a busy Wellington road this morning.
Emergency services were called to Brooklyn Rd about 8.15am and the downed wires forced the closure of the southbound lane of traffic, although vehicles could still use the city-bound northern lane.
Police and fire crews had now left the scene.
