Fallen Idol Teresa still hopeful of singing career

Dumped New Zealand Idol entrant Teresa Bergman says she still hopes to make a go of her singing career.

Bergman, 18, sang her way to the last five but has been voted off.

Supporters plastered her suburb of Eastbourne, Wellington, with Vote Teresa signs but it was not enough.

Bergman said the contest had been a "crazy ride".
