A man due to be extradited to the United States to face charges over allegedly selling fake Viagra is on the run.
Bo Jiang, 33, was arrested in Wellington in January and had been reporting to police daily while he fought the extradition.
However, police said he had not checked in since Saturday, and also failed to show for scheduled appearances at Wellington District Court on Wednesday and Thursday.
Jiang is wanted for trial in the United States on charges of conspiracy and trafficking in counterfeit pharmaceuticals, including selling fake erectile dysfunction drug Viagra.
Jiang had links to Auckland and Wellington but was not considered dangerous, police said.
