Ownership of New Zealand's oldest weekly newspaper changed hands yesterday for an undisclosed sum.
Truth, established 102 years ago, was bought by a group headed by Hawkes Bay businessman Dermott Malley from international media giant Fairfax Media.
Chief operating officer Peter O'Hara said the paper was sold because it did not fit with the other papers in the Fairfax stable.
