More than 20,000 nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants will get an 8 per cent pay rise today - but say they are still missing out on "fair" superannuation and annual leave.
The pay increase is the final instalment of a "fair pay" deal negotiated by the NZ Nurses' Organisation in March last year. The union said it would now turn its attention to "fair play".
