Exploding coffee maker recalled

Coffee lovers may be at risk of being blown up by an espresso coffee maker which is prone to exploding.

Outdoor equipment company Kathmandu has been forced to recall the basecamp Espresso 9 Cup due to "a risk of excessive pressure build-up causing explosion".

Consumers were warned to stop using the product immediately and return it to their nearest store.
