KEY POINTS:
The girls from Twentysevennames are growing up.
Last season they had a range full of cute Parisian inspired pieces - denim dresses, preppy blazers - but for winter 2009 they get darker and more mature.
The range, called Crazy Horse, features plenty of the wearable pieces that the Wellington based label (formerly known as Love Lies Bleeding) are known for, but all with a subtle nod to key trends (lace, ruffles, tie dye, blazer shapes, plaid).
This season they look to the remarkable Patti Smith for inspiration, and indeed the first outfit out of the gate - cream oversized blazer and a baggy white shirt - could have been pulled from Smith's wardrobe.
With a strong black and white palette, injected with bursts of purple, red and tie dye, the range is their strongest yet.
I especially loved their fresh take on the humble blazer, which is popping up in every single collection this week.
