An installation is a hard thing to pull off at Air New Zealand Fashion Week, but Deadly Ponies pulled a massive crowd again this year.
A table in the middle of the room displayed the label's signature leather handmade handbags, which sat alongside skulls, bones and doctors' tools.
Models then paraded out to the sounds of Bat for Lashes, holding plates with jewellery sitting atop dead-looking severed hands and fingers (fake of course, but they looked very real).
Great bags, great jewellery, great concept; I'm just not sure how well an installation works when you can't really see the actual product.
