KEY POINTS:
A former camp leader accused of historic sex crimes against five boys has ended a legal battle to keep his name a secret.
Neville Cyril Collins, who is in his 40s, had appealed against a decision last year by the High Court at Rotorua to allow publication of his name but has since dropped the action. He faces 33 charges of sexual offending alleged to have occurred between 1984 and 1998.
A trial has been set for July.
