Ex-broadcaster on charges

A former high-profile TV and radio broadcaster is to stand trial for manufacturing methamphetamine. At the North Shore District Court yesterday Judge Barbara Morris committed Peter Verschaffelt to the High Court at Auckland. He will appear for a call-over on September 30.
