Thieves have stolen memorabilia from the earthquake-damaged Christchurch home of former All Black Graeme Bachop.
The halfback told the Press his Hillsborough home has been burgled four times over the past five months, the latest on January 25.
Bachop, now living in a rented Westmorland address with his wife and three children, said he was contacted by police after some of his possessions had been found in a bin by police.
Much of Bachop's rugby memorabilia from his playing days are among the stolen items, including his blazer from the 1995 Rugby World Cup.
Bachop, who was born in Christchurch, represented the All Blacks from 1987 to 1995.
He said it would be hard for the thieves to sell the All Black's gear.
"I thought it was bloody crazy. What are they going to do with it? That'll probably be the reason they get caught," he told the Press.
