Three Lower Hutt women ordered out of their Housing New Zealand (HNZ) homes because of gang connections are taking their case to the Court of Appeal.
In March they were given 90-day eviction notices after a neighbour left her state house, saying she had been terrorised by gang members associated with the women.
The trio - Robyn Winther, Huia Tamaka and Billy Taylor - have so far sought and failed to overturn the eviction through the Tenancy Tribunal, Lower Hutt District Court, and High Court.
On Wednesday they filed an application to be heard in the Court of Appeal, The Dominion Post reported.
