Auckland International Airport was evacuated this afternoon after a fire alarm was triggered.
A fire service spokesman said the call came through at 2.20pm as an automatic fire alarm activation.
"At this stage it appears to be a false alarm," he said.
Travellers were evacuated to the drop-off zone out the front of the terminal while fire crews cleared the buildings.
