Two men who escaped from the Manukau District Court about 10am yesterday are dangerous and not to be approached by members of the public, police say.
Perry Bristow, 26, and Vincent Geros, 23, were due to appear in the court on aggravated robbery charges but escaped while being escorted by security guards from the cells to the court. They were last seen running across Hayman Park on the western side of the Manukau City Centre.
Police said Bristow had links to the Manurewa and Clendon areas and could possibly access firearms. They said he was known to have affiliations to the Killer Bees gang.
Geros had a history of association with Northland Black Power and also had links to Mangere and Papatoetoe, police said.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts or activities should call police on 111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
