Mona and her husband had been at a party before she drove them home about 12.45am on October 3.
While driving through Onekawa, the pair began arguing about an incident at the party and Mona became so angry she drove off the road and through two fences before smashing into the side of a house.
When police arrived, Mona recorded a breath alcohol reading of 555 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath. The limit is 400mcg.
Mr Mona received cuts to his face and legs as well as broken teeth in the crash.
The house owners are seeking $25,000 in reparation for damages, while a further $3000 is sought for the fences.
