The end of the golden weather has not yet arrived for Eketahuna Camping Ground with another excellent month recorded in March.
Proprietors Kerry and Loreen Cunningham welcomed 393 guests during the month with 167 using powered sites, 186 unpowered sites and 40 hiring cabins.
The month was blessed with good weather and March followed on from earlier, pleasant summer months favourable to camping throughout the wider region. The Cunninghams said visitors to the Eketahuna Camping Ground tend to stay for longer periods with many saying the tariffs are cheaper than city camps.
Most visitors take the opportunity to visit Pukaha Mount Bruce during their stay, with practically every overseas visitor doing so.
Feedback has been the camping ground visitors consider Pukaha Mount Bruce to be good value for money.
