A young couple's alleged six-week crime spree ended abruptly yesterday when their car was boxed in by police at the Onewa Rd motorway off-ramp after a brief chase.
Police said the 19-year-old man and his 17-year-old girlfriend were wanted in connection with alleged fraud and theft crimes. They will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow.
