the feeling you have before you even leave the house that you are going to forget something and not remember it until you're on the highway.
6.gription (n): the purchase gained by friction - "My car needs new tyres because the old ones have lost their gription."
7. phonecrastinate (v): to put off answering the phone until caller ID displays the incoming name and number.

Give that man a slap: On Radio Sport's soccer show on Sunday nights a TAB representative talks about bets for the next week. Last Sunday, while discussing the European Final, in which Liverpool were 3-0 down at half-time and came back to win, the rep's insightful comment was: "At half time you'd be going to wake the wife up for a bit of 'how's your father', but 20 minutes later you'd be giving her a slap."

A reader writes: "Returning to my new car after watching my son play a school hockey game, I noticed it had been hit. As I was cursing my luck at being subject to a hit-and-run in a car park a young man approached me and confessed to being the culprit. Surely 99 out of 100 people would not do this and would instead tell their parents the dent they put in their mother's car was from a hit-and-run in the car park.
