St Matthew-in-the-City is in mourning after discovering last week that its iGod billboard is missing. In a blatant bid to entice youth along to the church, St Matthews has ventured into podcasting at www.godcast.co.nz and its promotional tool was last seen at the corner of Wellesley and Hobson Sts, dressed in a bright green outfit. Police suspect that iGod had a yearning for higher education and may be hiding out in a university dorm. Should you see iGod, please ask him to download himself back home. All is forgiven.

OJ Simpson has found another way of leveraging off his notoriety by starring in a candid-camera type show called Juiced. Sporting a range of disguises, Simpson tries pranks on unwitting victims. One stunt, deemed "morally reprehensible" by Ronald Goldman's father, Fred, involves Simpson trying to sell the Bronco that he used in his getaway after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in 1994. "It was good for me, it helped me get away," he says to a prospective buyer in a used-car showroom. Simpson still owes US$33.5 million to the family of both victims from the civil case that found him liable for the murders.

A tip-off about a methamphetamine lab in Horn Lake, Mississippi, resulted in a heavily armed strike team showing up at the address provided by an informant. Confusingly, there were two houses on the property. Eenie-meenie-miney-mo. They decided to hit the larger of the two buildings and as a result, a man and a woman, both in their 80s, were injured and taken to a local hospital. The cops managed to save face by finding the lab in the second house. (Source: reason.com)
