The Small Business Expo will give business owners the chance to reap the benefits of several days work, and many miles travelled, in just a few hours.
Attendees can check out the latest business products and services on the market; renew, set up or benchmark existing contracts from telecommunications to office stationery; find a business mentor; get free advice; and network with thousands of other business owners.
The Microsoft Seminar Series consists of 20 seminars from specialists on everything from IT marketing and HR to law and finance, as well as `how to tips' from businesspeople. Speakers include Mike Pero, Seeby Woodhouse from Orcon Internet, and Green Acres founder Sharon Kenny.
Attendees will also be in the running to win more than $20,000 of prizes, including a $12,000 business growth package from Icon Business Solutions and the New Zealand Herald and a $10,000 website (or new features for an existing site) from web firm Solutionists.
Trotman has also organised the Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards, to be announced on Thursday, July 21. The awards recognise excellence in supporting business growth and are held in partnership with the Ministry for Economic Development, NZ Trade and Enterprise and the NZ Business Excellence Foundation.
