Tai chi exponents at the Tamaki College community centre celebrated the eighth annual World Tai Chi Day on Saturday.

New Zealand led the world in a global relay of the ancient Chinese martial art. Supporters gathered at 10am in countries around the world for the mass displays, intended to release a wave of calming and healing energy.
