Another haka man figure has appeared overnight, this time in Auckland.

The figure was placed on Watchmen's Island near the Harbour Bridge.

The new appearance follows a sighting on Sunday in a farmer's paddock near the runway at Christhurch airport.

It is thought the mysterious Haka men are part of a joint campaign by the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) and All Blacks sponsor adidas to drum up support for the upcoming Lions Tour, the Fotopress photo agency reported.
