KEY POINTS:
There have been emotional outbursts at the Manukau District Court as the South Auckland man charged with murdering his wife on Christmas Day made his second appearance.
The courtroom was packed with members of Keleti Seau's family.
Three women wept loudly as the 43-year-old stood in the dock in a suit and tie with his head bowed.
As he was led away, family members waved while one young man repeatedly punched the wall.
Police and security were called and the judge left the court room.
Seau has been remanded in custody until a pre-depositions hearing next month.
Atonauga Seau, 42, died in the family's Otara home.
Seau's first appearance in court last month was also marked by rowdy scenes.
